As rural communities and workplaces across Alberta have been welcoming more newcomers, understanding their unique needs is essential for fostering economic growth and social cohesion. This workshop, hosted by the Rural Development Network, will explore the challenges faced by newcomers in rural areas, the role of employers and community leaders in creating inclusive environments, and best practices for integrating new residents into the workplace and community.
